HAPPY MOTHERS DAY! THE BEST PREACHER IN THE FAMILY G. Campbell Morgan, a profound British preacher whose four sons all became pastors, influenced millions with his preaching, teaching and writing. One day, when his young son Howard finished preaching, a reporter asked him, "Since you have five Preachers in your family who is the greatest preacher? Expecting the son to give the honor to his father, Howard surprised the reporter by saying, "My Mother!"

Romans 12:1 present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God "On Loan to The Lord" He was born in a borrowed stable. He was laid in a borrowed manger. He rode a borrowed beast. He ate his last supper in a borrowed room. He hung on a borrowed cross. He was buried in a borrowed tomb. Christ used what he could borrow to pay for our everlasting tomorrow. WHAT COULD CHRIST DO WITH A BORROWED LIFE? He could deliver from addiction. He could overcome temptation. He could change that situation. Lets declare it from the rooftop. I'm not living my life anymore. I'm putting Satan on notice. From this day forward God is in complete control. I present myself as a permanent loan to God!
Sunday School and Morning Service Canceled Hope everyone has a blessed day. Bundle up and stay warm. -God Bless
Christ speaks to Paul a three fold message on the road to Damascus. Acts 26:16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; 1. GET UP "But rise and stand" The Devils made a pit for you but you can get up by the grace of the Almighty. You can stand again!!! 2. GET OUT "For I have appeared unto thee for this purpose" God still has a work for you to do. Your ministry is not over. Your witness is not over. Your purpose is not gone. God still has a purpose for you and a message for you to proclaim. God's not through with you!!! 3. GET GOING "To make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee." He's got a work for you to do not just today, but also in the future. You haven't seen the last of God. The best is not behind you but yet to come. He said "I will appear unto you." That's not past or even present tense, but in the future. Gods day of glory is not over. He's still gonna move and will continue to move. Christ has a purpose for you to get out and do. You gotta get going because he doesn't just have a work now but you're also gonna have a work in "those things which I will appear unto thee."
Luke 2:25 25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name was Simeon; and the same man was just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him. 26 And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ. 27 And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law, 28 Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said, 29 Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word: 30 For mine eyes have seen thy salvation How awesome Simeon must have felt that day to finally rock the King of Kings in his arms after a lifetime of waiting. The thoughts that probably raced through his mind, the feeling that must have consumed his heart and the warmth that must have encompassed that moment was probably the most overwhelming event Simeon ever experienced. In fact Simeon says in verse 29 that, that moment, that touch was the very reason that he still breathed and existed. It must have been quite an experience to hold the baby Christ child, but today, on Christmas, as we celebrate his birth we can experience that same touch that Simeon felt so many years ago. Christ can be just as close to us today as he was to Simeon on that powerful day. I hope you have a Christmas full of fun friends and family and as you open gifts and sit around the Christmas table remember that Christ is still the center of it all. God Bless and Have a Merry Christmas!
